Investment opportunities announced by Ministry of Road and Urban Development:
- Completion of railroad transit networks at the following routes:
- Qazvin - Rasht - Anzali - Astara
- Connection of Chahbahar to the national railway line
- Khaf - Harat - Kashghar
- Tabriz - Amenia - The Black Sea
- Shalamche - Basra - and western Iran railway line
- Zahedan - Quetta (connection to Pakistan Railway Line and TAR Network
- Completion of Asian highway networks and highways in the country
- Modernization of 127000 cargo road fleet
- Modernization and renovation of 800 passenger wagons and supply of required locomotives
- Purchase of 550 airplanes with an estimated investment of 150 billion dollars over the next 4 years
